Evie's jumble

Well I hope your all well and rested I've just finished running around at work looking after little 3 yearolds, I just love there little ways .
Working with children is such a great job even if its full on, there little saying can't but help  keep a smile on your face.
Gee! there are some tallented folks out there, I love looking at there creative ideas.

Well as you may know from past blogs I'm all into doing up and collecting unloved items so over the past few weeks I've got to work doing some of them up But first of all I'd like you to meet another birthday friend who's going to a very special little girl.

Below are  old tooled leather bags my daugter and I have collected. Such beautiful old bags in so many shades and shapes

I just can't resist these little nick, nacks when I find them , there so cute and look nice  grouped  but I have so many so it's time for some to find new homes

How cool is this retro folding basket below

Another nice collection of old Oroton evening bags so cool for retro evening ware

Looking up into the jumble of mixed lamp bases wating for shades and gene bottles looking for those nice pointy stoppers that are as rare as hens teeth , but I'm sure something will turn up

These stool I have just recovered, I  covered each chair in a nice bright colour

and this old folding stool in black . Below was once and old broken down kitchen bench but with a little love and care
it's been transformed , we used yellow for the seat and a stripe canvas for the back.

I fell in love with this old pin dish so nice on my dresser to hold all those bits and bob's

You know my love of old baskets  this one holds all of my patterns and sits atop of the waiters tray stand right next to my resting chair

below is a project I'm working on it's getting there bit by bit

I found these old retro chairs  and could'nt resist them

Another restoration job on the old bentwood rocker we used some original 70's fabric to recover the rocker and revarnished it

And last but not least are these old vintage cane chairs in need of some tlc  and a little wicker work

hope you have enjoyed looking at what's  going on at the moment I've so much more to get done somtimes I can't sleep with all the ideas going around in my head, so  up I get, sit in my old thinking chair with a nice cuppa and just relax .
Thanks for looking please do come again and if not I hope you enjoyed my blog.  Cheers
