Hello again sorry its taken me this long to sit and blog again, I've been so busy with Christmas, family and wet weather. We've had a terrible time over the last month and it's still not over with a cyclone out in the Coral Sea, hope it keeps moving well on down. Our lovely Esplanade and boardwalk got a beating from a quite ocean below
to a destructive one, Oh the poor boardwalk got totally destroyed
My, how nature can turn.
Time for some peace and quiet plus some crocheting
I've been making the best of making and restoring, below's my crochet cottons all in a muddle. Oh what a tangled webb we weave, I just love the basket there in nice and deep
I've just finished this little daring with crochet hair and jacket she's off to New Calidonia I not sure if she'll need a jacket there.
Plus I finaly got round to making this cushion cover
Now for the finds of the week and some restoration work.
I picked up these stools from the thrift shop, the smallest is a foot stool and sewing box, I painted/ recovered it in a paris fabric.
The taller stool's an old piano stool with revovable seat and space for sheet music, this was painted in white and recovered it in garaffe fabric, Oh! so cute.
Don't you just love this retro pink desk with a world Map top. I wish I was a little girl sometimes, then maybe I'm still a little girl.
I just love this old childrens book case I picked up for 5$ an ideal place for my books and hanging sample fabrics so cool
I just fell in love with this crystal lamp it go's so well in my woman cave the light just bounces off the crystal
Hoping to get enough stock for a market stall one day but my stock keeps going down, well I can live in hope, also hopeing to investegate an online shop maybe Itsy, or the Austrailian one Made it. My long term goal is to make educational toys for Kindergartens, I do well selling them at my work place so should do well at others fingers crossed.
Hope you join me again and if not thanks for droping in Cheers.
